Hear from the healthcare professionals who helped to create www.bebodypositive.org.uk. With eating disorder referrals on the rise among young people in the UK, it is crucial we provide early support to those who have concerns with eating and their bodies.
In this webinar, we cover the importance of early intervention when it comes to disordered eating and body image in young people. Recognising early warning signs and taking timely action can be pivotal in helping individuals navigate their journey towards a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. Together with Dr. Erica Cini, Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Alexandra Bell, Senior Specialist Paediatric Dietitian, we presented Be Body Positive as a tool for health professionals to learn from and signpost to.
Over 260 health professionals joined us from across the UK, covering CAMHS, Eating Disorder Services, Primary Care and Mental Health Support Teams.
Feedback from the session:
90% of the healthcare professionals who took part in the webinar poll said that they were likely to use Be Body Positive as a resource to support young people.
Take this opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Be Body Positive resource, and gain a deeper appreciation for its potential to positively impact the lives of the young people you work with.
